1ST Provincial Poverty Reduction Livelihood and Employment Cluster (PRLEC) Meeting
On August 14, 2019, the TESDA Bulacan conduct a 1st Provincial Poverty Reduction, Livelihood and Employment Cluster (PRLEC) Meeting and it was held at FTC Hall Feliza Jazz, Mac Arthur Highway, Sumapang Matanda, City of Malolos, Bulacan. In support to the signed
EO NO. 70 titled “ Institutionalizing the Whole of Nation Approach in Attaining Inclusive and Sustainable Peace and Creating the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF ELCAC).
The event aims to harmonize the delivery of basic and social developmental services of each member agency of the cluster, based on the PRLEC Implementation Plan. It also intends to generate inputs, recommendations and strategies that will respond to the implementation of the Executive Order at the Provincial Level.
The Cluster meeting was actively participated by different government agencies such as NICA, DILG, DSWD, DOLE, DOST, DEPED, DTI, DPWH, NCIP, DENR, DA, DAR, PNP and Local Government Units.
Dir. Nenuca E. Tangonan, Regional Director of TESDA Region III was on hand to make an opening remarks, she addressed that all member agencies and other partners should provide full commitment for the cluster program implementation. And commit to support and sustain the operationalization of EO 70 through harmonized and synchronized efforts of government agencies to end communist insurgency.
The DILG Bulacan headed by Dir. Darwin D. David was represented by Mr. Gerald Caborles. He discussed the Conduct of Rapid Assessment on Basic Services and Infrastructure on Priority Areas on three identified barangays in City of San Jose Del Monte.
Dir. Rolando E. Asuncion, OIC Regional Director of NICA Region III discussed and gave an overview on EO No. 70 and also gave some briefings. As per NICA’s information our activities are well monitored by the CPP-NPA. The need to Security Awareness for all the member Agency is necessary.
During the cluster meeting, Bulacan Governor Daniel R. Fernando give emphasis on his message the word of support and unity among people in the province of Bulacan. And lastly, he mentioned to continue support one another to maintain the good and strong relationship in our various partners.
There will be a convergence action planning done during the meeting and various agencies signed their commitment of support as members of the Provincial Poverty Reduction, Livelihood and Employment Cluster in Bulacan.
As per agreement, each agency should assigned focal person and held a monthly or quarterly meeting for this IMPLAN.
At the conclusion, PD Jovencio M. Ferrer, Jr. thanked the partners for their usual support for all the projects and programs of TESDA Bulacan.
