3-day intensive training for dressmaking trainers entitled “Train the Trainers Program”
Provincial Training Center-Calumpit, headed by its OIC-Center Administrator Mr. Renato Salas, was invited by Manila Embroidery Gold Inc. for a 3-day intensive training for dressmaking trainers entitled “Train the Trainers Program” on May 10, 11, and 12, 2023. Attending the training program were three trainers from PTC-Calumpit, Ms. Clotilde Mendoza, Ms. Marifi Catanghal, and Ms. Laura Opiana.
The program aims to upskill PTC-Calumpit’s dressmaking trainers on the construction of pants, vests, and long sleeves that will provide better employment opportunities for the sewers from the Bulacan area.
Relative to the training program, a meeting was also held regarding the Memorandum of Agreement for Supervised Industry Learning (SIL) and Dual Training System (DTS) between PTC-Calumpit and Manila Embroidery Gold Inc.
