Demonstration/training on hydroponics at the TESDA Bulacan Multi-purpose Hall
On July 4, 2023, TESDA Bulacan, in collaboration with the Bulacan Association of Technical Vocational Schools (BATVS), held a demonstration/training on hydroponics at the TESDA Bulacan Multi-purpose Hall, with Mr. Rainville Tobias from Bulacan Hydroponics as the speaker.
Hydroponics is a method for cultivating plants that employ a water-based nutrients solution instead of soil, allowing for faster growth and higher yields than traditional soil-based growing methods. In the said demonstration/training, Mr. Tobias had a short lecture and hands-on demonstration on how hydroponics works to assist the participants from Towerville 6 Community Welfare Organization, Inc. in San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan grow their own crops and herbs using hydroponic cultivation at the aforementioned demonstration/training.
To show their support, Regional Director Toni June Tamayo, TESDA Bulacan Provincial Director Gerty Pagaran, Mr. Edgardo Santiago, President of BATVS, RTCCL Center Chief Rheo Henry Rodriguez, RTCCL Supervising TESD Specialist Jeffrey Guevarra, and TESDA Pampanga Provincial Director Eric Ueda all attended the hydroponics demonstration/training.
