Meeting with Manila Embroidery Gold Inc

On April 18, 2023 ,Provincial Training Center Calumpit headed by Officer-in-Charge Mr. Renato Salas and Registrar Ms. Michelle Joy Lorenzo, had a meeting with Manila Embroidery Gold Inc. (MEGI).

MEGI Human Resource (HR) head Mr. Gabriel Asuncion and PTC Head discussed the forging of partnership for Dual Training System (DTS) and Supervised Industry Learning (SIL) which aims to incorporate the latest technology and standards of the company to PTC Calumpit dressmaking graduates. Mr. Salas proposed a 5- day minimum intrusive training for PTC-Calumpit’s dressmaking trainers as part of their industry immersion, focusing on upskilling and honing trainer’s expertise on fashion technology to be imparted to future trainees resulting in their increased employability after completing the course on Dressmaking NC II.

On the same day, Mr. Asuncion conducted an on-site job screening at PTC-Calumpit under the Jobs Linkaging and Networking Services (JoLINs) program for the graduates of Dressmaking NC II. 15 graduates were screened and subjected to skills examination in pattern making and basic sewing machine application.
