TESDA Bulacan and ATEAB Conduct Online Training on E-Learning Facilitation for TVET Trainers
On March 06, 2025, TESDA Bulacan, in partnership with the Association of TVET Educators and Assessors in Bulacan (ATEAB), successfully conducted a five-day Online Training on Facilitating E-Learning Sessions. The virtual training aimed to enhance the capabilities of TVET trainers and assessors in delivering effective online learning experiences, ensuring they are well-equipped to adapt to the evolving digital education landscape.
ATEAB President, Ms. Richel Kalaw, warmly welcomed the participants and emphasized the crucial role of technology in modern education. She encouraged active participation, highlighting the importance of adapting to digital learning methods in today’s rapidly evolving technological environment.
TESDA Bulacan Supervising TESD Specialist, Ms. Daisy C. Superior, delivered the opening remarks, stressing the significance of the training in equipping TVET trainers with essential skills for effective e-learning facilitation. Also present was TESDA Bulacan UTPRAS Focal, Ms. Catherine C. Santos, who provided insights on the guidelines and requirements for implementing e-learning programs in compliance with TESDA standards.
The training was facilitated by three experienced trainers: Mr. Lawrence M. Ramos, Dr. Rosemarie S. Guirre, and Mr. Michael Gonzales. Their combined expertise provided participants with comprehensive insights into effective e-learning facilitation, digital content creation, and online engagement strategies. Through interactive discussions, practical demonstrations, and the sharing of best practices, the facilitators ensured that participants gained valuable knowledge and skills essential for delivering engaging and effective online learning sessions.
Furthermore, a total of 39 participants from various TVET institutions in Bulacan and Tarlac actively participated in the training. Over the five-day session, they engaged in interactive discussions, hands-on activities, and collaborative learning exercises designed to enhance their digital teaching skills. They explored various e-learning platforms, developed engaging instructional materials, and practiced effective online facilitation techniques to ensure meaningful and interactive learning experiences for their future trainees.
On the final day, March 10, 2025, the training concluded with an Awarding of Certificates Ceremony held at the TESDA Bulacan Provincial Office. This in-person gathering provided participants the opportunity to celebrate their achievement and reflect on the knowledge and skills they had acquired. The awarding ceremony also reinforced the commitment of trainers and assessors to delivering high-quality, technology-driven education in the TVET sector.
The Facilitate E-Learning Sessions training underscored TESDA Bulacan’s commitment to continuous professional development, ensuring that trainers and assessors remain well-prepared to navigate the evolving demands of education in the digital age.
