PTC-Calumpit Donates Solar Night Lights to Barangay Balungao in Support of Sustainable Community Development

Provincial Training Center–Calumpit, spearheaded by Center Administrator Mr. Renato Salas, actively participated in the donation of Solar Night Lights to support the community of Barangay Balungao, Calumpit, Bulacan. As part of the institution’s commitment to sustainable development and its extension services program, TESDA PTC–Calumpit, led by Mr. Salas together with COA Region III Auditor Ms. Susan Aquino, donated ten (10) units of solar-powered night lights to the barangay.

The solar streetlights were fabricated by SMAW NC I trainees of PTC–Calumpit and are aligned with the institution’s Institutional Development Plan (IDP) 2024–2028 under community extension services. This initiative helps promote the use of renewable energy, provides safer and well-illuminated pathways, and contributes to environmental protection through reduced pollution, lower carbon emissions, and energy conservation, fostering a safer and more sustainable community.
