TESDA Observes 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women and Children
In observance of the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC), TESDA Secretary Kiko Benitez emphasized the agency’s commitment to ensuring safe, respectful, and inclusive environments across its training institutions, offices, and communities.
Sec. Kiko called on all trainers, administrators, and staff to actively participate in fostering a culture of respect and protection and encouraged everyone to carry this culture beyond the workplace into their homes and communities, ensuring that every woman and child can live free from fear and harm.
As part of its ongoing efforts, TESDA integrates gender sensitivity, protection measures, and VAWC awareness across its programs, emphasizing that ending violence is a continuous, year-round commitment.
