PTC-Calumpit Supports 123rd Labor Day Job Fair, Promotes Tech-Voc Training and EBET Opportunities
The Provincial Training Center-Calumpit, led by Center Administrator Renato Salas, proudly participated in the 123rd Labor Day Mega Job Fair held on May 1, 2025, at the SM City San Jose del Monte Mall Atrium. This nationwide initiative, spearheaded by DOLE, aimed to connect Filipino job seekers with employment opportunities.
The event was organized by the City Government of San Jose del Monte and PESO-CSJDM under Mr. Perfecto Jaime Tagalog. SM Mall Manager Mr. Jose Mari Emmanuel H. Correa welcomed participants, highlighting SM Supermalls’ commitment to supporting employment efforts nationwide.
TESDA and the City Government of SJDM continue to strengthen their partnership in delivering accessible tech-voc training to residents. Mr. Salas also emphasized the importance of Republic Act No. 12063 or the EBET Framework Act in aligning education with industry needs.
During the job fair, 28 applicants submitted training requirements to PTC-Calumpit, while 8 applied for free assessment and certification under the CACW program.
