TESDA Bulacan and BATVS Conduct 8th Training of Trainers on 21st Century Work Readiness Skills

On April 24-28, 2025, TESDA Bulacan, in collaboration with the Bulacan Association of Technical Vocational Schools (BATVS), successfully conducted the 8th batch of the Training of Trainers (TOT) on the Work Readiness Module on 21st Century Skills via Google Meet. This initiative aimed to further strengthen the capabilities of technical-vocational trainers by equipping them with essential skills and progressive teaching strategies tailored to the needs of today’s learners.

The program began with a warm welcome from UPTRAS Focal Ms. Catherine Santos, followed by an opening message from BATVS President Mr. Edgardo Santiago, who emphasized the value of continued innovation in training delivery.

Renowned facilitators Dr. Rosemarie S. Guirre and Ms. Janet Bongat led the session, guiding 33 participants from various regions across the country through an engaging and insightful training. The participants immersed themselves in interactive discussions, collaborative learning, and practical activities, gaining vital tools for delivering impactful instruction in their institutions. The session concluded with the awarding of certificates, marking their readiness to apply and integrate 21st-century skills in their classrooms.

The 8th batch of the Training of Trainers on 21st Century Skills shows TESDA Bulacan and BATVS’s strong commitment to improving technical-vocational education. By helping trainers learn new and modern ways of teaching, the program ensures that learners are guided by educators who are not only competent but also future-ready.
