TESDA Bulacan and RTCCL-Guiguinto Celebrate Earth Month with Gardening and Tree Planting Activity
On April 28, 2025, TESDA Bulacan Provincial Office, in collaboration with the Regional Training Center Central Luzon (RTCCL)-Guiguinto, successfully conducted the Gardening and Tree Planting Activity in participation for the 2025 Earth Month Celebration with the theme “Our Power, Our Planet”, as part of their commitment to environmental conservation and sustainability. This initiative aimed to emphasize the critical importance of preserving the environment for a sustainable future.
The activity was actively participated in by the staff and employees of TESDA PO Bulacan and RTCCL-Guiguinto. It began with the preparation of the land, which included the incorporation of organic materials to improve soil fertility and conservation. After this, participants engaged in planting vegetable seedlings such as eggplant, malunggay and siling labuyo and fruit bearing trees such as calamansi, guyabano, kamias, atis, and avocado, contributing to the beautification and ecological balance of the area.
In addition to the planting, the staff took part in a thorough cleaning of the compound, ensuring it remained tidy and well-maintained. A key undertaking was the turning of dried leaves and organic matter into compost, reinforcing TESDA Bulacan’s commitment to reducing waste and enhancing the environmental quality of the space.
Through these hands-on activities, TESDA Bulacan not only demonstrated its dedication to environmental sustainability but also inspired staff to adopt more eco-friendly practices in their daily lives.
