TAC Meeting Highlights Key Resolutions for Skills Development at TESDA RTCCL-Guiguinto
The TESDA Regional Training Center Central Luzon-Guiguinto and TTI Advisory Council (TAC) successfully convened for their third quarterly meeting on September 30, 2024.
The TAC meeting, chaired by Ms. Cristina Tuzon, was attended by key members including Mr. Rheo Henry Rodriguez, Center Chief of Regional Training Center Central Luzon – Guiguinto; Provincial Director Angelita Parungao, Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Bulacan; OIC – Provincial Director Maria Cristina Valenzuela and Ms. Lota Yasa, Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Bulacan; Mr. Eric Lim, Autokid Subic Trading Corporation; Mr. Edgardo Santiago, President of Bulacan Association of Technical and Vocational School (BATVS); Ms. Janet Valdez, National University Baliuag; Mr. Jeffrey Guevarra, TAC Secretariat; and Mr. Roderick Alcantara of TESDA RTCCL-Guiguinto Partnership Focal.
The meeting tackled important topics such as the current demand for skilled Truck Drivers and Forklift Operators, safety training for Motorcycle Drivers, and enhancing enterprise-based learning through the Dual Training System (DTS).
Key resolutions were also approved, including the RTCCL-Guiguinto’s registration of DTS Program, Entrepreneurship PQF Level IV, and Micro-Credential Program in KNX Certified Devices Installation and Programming.
The third-quarter TAC meeting reaffirmed TESDA RTCCL-Guiguinto’s unwavering commitment to aligning its training programs with evolving industry demands. These forward-looking initiatives will play a pivotal role in bridging the skills gap and fostering a more skilled and adaptable workforce in Central Luzon.
