TESDA Provincial Training Center – Calumpit Joins the Nationwide Celebration of National Women’s Month 2026
In support of the nationwide observance of National Women’s Month, the TESDA Provincial Training Center – Calumpit conducted a series of activities throughout March 2026 to recognize the significant contributions of women in society and promote the principles of Gender and Development (GAD). The initiative aligns with the government’s continuing commitment to advancing gender equality, women empowerment, and inclusive development.
As part of the celebration, on March 6, 2026, the Center organized free wellness services for staff and women clients, including haircut, body massage, foot spa, and nail care, facilitated by trainers and trainees in partnership with the Bulacan Manpower and Livelihood Training Center’s Community-Based Training on Beauty Care Services. The activity served as both a practical application of the trainees’ skills and a meaningful way of honoring and appreciating women while providing quality services to the community.
Moreover, simple tokens were distributed to women clients everyday of March as part of the Women’s Month treat. This initiative was warmly received and contributed to a welcoming and celebratory atmosphere within the training center.
Overall, the activities highlighted the Center’s commitment to integrating Gender and Development principles into its programs while promoting community engagement, inclusivity, and recognition of women’s vital role in society.
