Job Fairs held at SM City Marilao and SM City San Jose Del Monte
The TESDA Bulacan participated in the recently concluded Job Fairs held at SM City Marilao and SM City San Jose Del Monte on May 1 organized by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Provincial Office of Bulacan and the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) of City of San Jose Del Monte City, Bulacan, respectively. This aimed to assist Bulakenyos find gainful employment.
The Job Fair commemorates Labor Day which is celebrated nationwide to honor the Filipino Workers’ hard work and perseverance.
In support of the celebration, TESDA Bulacan set up Information Booth in the two event venues. Brochures about the Agency’s scholarship programs and the TESDA Online Program were given to provide Bulakenyos’ ready information about scholarship and training.
Skills demonstration were also conducted at the two job fairs. In SM City Marilao, Ms. Ma. Ines Rosanna Recio facilitated the Perfume-making demonstration. Meanwhile, Ms. Margarita Germar facilitated the skills demo on making dishwashing soap, hand sanitizer, alcohol, and car shampoo.
