TESDA AT FFCCCII LUMAGDA SA MOA PARA SA SKILLS TRAINING PROGRAM
Magiging katuwang ng Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) ang Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII) sa pagbibigay ng skills training program matapos na lumagda ang mga ito sa Memorandum of Agreement (MOA).
Pinangunahan ni TESDA Director General, Secretary Guiling “Gene” Mamondiong ang paglagda sa MOA habang sa panig naman ng FFCCCII ay si President Domingo Yap na ginanap noong nakalipas na August 1 sa Binondo, Manila.
Naging saksi naman sa ginanap na simpleng seremonyo sina FFCCCII Vice President Mary Go Ng, FFCCCII Industrial Relations Committee Chairman Anthony Chan, TESDA Deputy Director General for Partnership and Linkages Rebecca Calzado at Deputy Director General for TESD Operations Alvin Feliciano.
Ayon kay Mamondiong, sa pamamagitan ng kasunduang ito ay magiging pormal na ang pagtutulungan ng TESDA at FFCCCII na makapagbigay ng sapat na kasanayan at industry exposure sa mga manggagawang Filipino.
Ang FFCCCII ay naitatag noong 1954 ng mga pinuno ng Filipino-Chinese community na layong palakasin ang ugnayan ng pagkakaibigan ng mga Filipino at Chinese sa bansa habang ang TESDA naman ay binuo sa pamamagitan ng Republic Act No. 7796 na mas kilala rin sa tawag na “Technical Education and Skills Development Act of 1994”.
Layunin din ng programang ito na tatawaging “TESDA-FFCCCII Technical Skills Training Program” na makapagbigay ng kasanayan na higit na kinakailangan ng mga industriya o ang tinatawag na skills mapping.
“In line with TESDA’s Two-Pronged Strategy on Poverty Reduction, the project aims to uplift the socio-economic status of the Filipino workforce through the provision of technical skills education and training hereby alleviating poverty”, nakasaad pa sa overall objective ng proyekto. ###

TESDA, FFCCCII TO BOOST SKILLS TRAINING PROGRAM
The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII) have joined forces to provide skills technical education and training for the poor.
TESDA Director General, Secretary Guiling “Gene” Mamondiong and FFCCCII President Domingo Yap led the signing of the memorandum of agreement (MOA) in Binondo, Manila last August 1.
Those who witnessed the signing of the MOA were FFCCCII Vice President Mary Go Ng, FFCCCII Industrial Relations Committee Chairman Anthony Chan, TESDA Deputy Director General for Partnership and Linkages Rebecca Calzado and Deputy Director General for TESD Operations Alvin Feliciano.
Mamondiong said that the agreement between TESDA and FFCCCII is expected to boost the skills and industry exposure of the local labor force.
The FFCCCII was established in 1954 by the Filipino-Chinese community to strengthen the ties of the Filipinos and Chinese while TESDA was formed under Republic Act No. 7796,popularly known as the “Technical Education and Skills Development Act of 1994”.
The TESDA-FFCCCII Technical Skills Training Program also aims to identify the individual’s strength and weaknesses through skills mapping.
“In line with TESDA’s Two-Pronged Strategy on Poverty Reduction, the project aims to uplift the socio-economic status of the Filipino workforce through the provision of technical skills education and training hereby alleviating poverty,” according to the program’s objectives. ###
