PTC Calumpit – 3rd batch of Jobs Linkaging and Networking Services (JoLiNS)
On April 18, 2024, the Provincial Training Center – Calumpit, under the leadership of Center Administrator Renato Salas, held its 3rd batch of Jobs Linkaging and Networking Services (JoLiNS) in collaboration with Regienel Industrial Sales and Services Inc. located in the Municipality of Calumpit, Bulacan. The company aimed to recruit skilled workers who had been trained and assessed at TESDA PTC-Calumpit in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) NC I and NC II.
Five graduates of SMAW NC I and NC II were interviewed by HR Coordinator Angelica Manicad and were hired on the spot by Regienel’s Supervisor Reynaldo Lizarondo. These applicants will begin their orientation at the company immediately, complete their employment documents, and commence their first day of work by the 4th week of April.
Following the JoLiNS, PTC-Calumpit Administrator Mr. Renato Salas and Post-Training Focal Ms. Christel Mae Pangan met with Regienel’s Supervisor Lizarondo to discuss the partnerships offered by TESDA, particularly the Supervised Industry Learning (SIL) System and the Dual Training System (DTS). A subsequent meeting will be scheduled with the company to further discuss and finalize the terms of the partnership with TESDA, including the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement.
