TESDA KorPhil Bulacan Leads Cyber Threat Mitigation Training of Trainers
In today’s digital age where cyber threats evolve by the day, how can institutions stay secure and prepared for the future? From August 11 to 15, 2025, TESDA KorPhil IT Training Center Bulacan, under the leadership of Center Administrator Ms. Kathrine R. Angeles, answered this challenge by spearheading a 5-day Training of Trainers on Cyber Threat Mitigation—made possible through the strong support of CyberQ Group and Monarch Cyber Solutions.
Facilitated by cybersecurity expert Mr. John Patrick J. Lita, the program trained Information Technology focal persons from various TESDA institutions in Region III—key personnel in safeguarding digital infrastructure and ensuring cybersecurity resilience.
The training covered:
• Introduction to Cybersecurity and Cyberthreats
• Vulnerability Scanning and Assessment
• Threat Mitigation and Incident Response
• Vulnerability and Management Control
• Advanced Cyber Threat Mitigation and Future Outlook
Through interactive lectures, simulations, and hands-on activities, participants gained deeper knowledge and practical skills for effective threat mitigation. Their feedback highlighted the training’s technical depth, relevance, and value.
TESDA KPITTC Bulacan continues to invest in its people, leading the way in cybersecurity preparedness and promoting safe and secure learning environments.
