On May 27, 2024, TESDA Korea-Philippines Information Technology Training Center, under the leadership of Center Administrator Kathrine R. Angeles, hosted the Training Induction Program (TIP) for Web Development NC III. This initiative was part of the Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP), a significant effort to enhance the skills and employability of the Filipino workforce in information technology. The TIP aimed to provide scholars with a comprehensive understanding of the scholarship program.
The event saw the participation of twenty-five (25) scholars from partner organizations such as the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) and Bulacan Polytechnic College (BPC). These partners are vital in bridging the gap between academic training and industry needs. Vocational Instruction Supervisor (VIS) Christine Irish Castillo, emphasized the importance of the training and encouraged the scholars to make full use of the resources and scholarship slots. Scholars from DICT and BPC expressed their optimism about future contributions to the IT sector.
