TESDA AT YAMAHA NAGSANIB PUWERSA
Nagsanib puwersa ang Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) at Yamaha Motor Philippines, Incorporated (YMPH) upang magkaroon ng Motorcycle Training Center na layuning makapagturo ng Motorcycle and Small Engine Servicing sa mga kababaihan at out of school youth.
Kasabay nito, lumagda din sa Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) ang TESDA na pinangunahan ni Director General, Secretary Guiling “Gene” Mamondiong at YMPH President Toru Osugi para sa paglalagay ng Motorcycle Training Center sa TESDA Women’s Center sa Taguig City.
Sinaksihan ng mga opisyales at empleyado ng TESDA at mga kinatawan ng YMPH ang “unveiling” ng marker para sa Motorcycle Training Center habang binasbasan din ang mga training laboratory na gagamitin para sa naturang kurso.
Ayon kay Mamondiong, ang proyektong ito ay layuning makapagbigay ng skills training sa Motorcycle and Small Engine Servicing-National Certificate (NC2) sa mga nagnanais na matuto nito na kanilang magagamit sa paghahanap ng trabaho o pagtatayo ng maliit na negosyo.
Nakasaad pa sa MOA na magbibigay ang YMPH ng mga motorsiklo, tools at equipment na ilalagak sa Motorcycle Training Center na pangangasiwaan ng TESDA Women’s Center na siyang gagamitin ng mga estudiyante.
Tutulungan din ng TESDA at ng YMPH ang mga magtatapos ng kursong Motorcycle and Small Engine Servicing na makakuha ng trabaho para sa kanilang maayos na kabuhayan habang ang mga trainees ay makakapasok bilang on-the-job training sa mga service centers ng Yamaha.

TESDA AND YAMAHA TO TEACH WOMEN, OSY ON MOTORCYCLES
The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and the Yamaha Motor Philippines, Incorporated (YMPH) have joined forces to build a Motorcycle Training Center which aims to teach women and out-of-school youths on motorcycle and small engine servicing.
This after TESDA Director General Secretary Guiling “Gene” Mamondiong and YMPH President Toru Osugi signed a memorandum of agreement for the creation of the Motorcycle Training Center at TESDA Women’s Center in Taguig City.
The MOA signing was witnessed by officials and employees of TESDA and representatives of YMPH who later unveiled the marker for the Motorcycle Training Center. The training laboratory was also blessed during the same event.
Mamondiong said that the project would later provide national certificates 2 to students who would complete their training.
The MOA stated that the YMPH would give motorcycles, tools and equipment which would be used by the students at the Motorcycle Training Center.
The two groups will also assist the graduates of the motorcycle and small engine servicing course to be hired as on-the-job trainees in Yamaha service centers.
