BUB Mass Orientation in Meycauayan

A mass orientation on the Bottom-Up- Budgeting (BUB) Program was held yesterday, December 15, 2016 at the Meycauayan City Hall. Various skills training programs will be held starting December 19, 2016 on Body Scrub Leading to Beauty Care NC II, Manicure/ Pedicure, Fermentation and Sugar Concentrate Leading to Food Processing NC II, Bread Making and Shielded Metal Arc Welding NC II for 100 trainees.

PD Grace Corazon Castillo thanked the City Government of Meycauayan under the leadership of Mayor Henry Villarica for prioritizing skills training in their BUB programs. She urged the trainees to be serious and maximize their learning so they can use them to augment family income.  City Administrator Rafael Gian Carlo Villarico              who also represented Mayor Villarica,  thanked the TESDA for its all-time support to the City and announced various programs of the City Government. Ms. Rhealyn A. Manansala, Scholarships Focal of TESDA Bulacan explained the mechanics of the scholarship program and answered queries of the trainees.

The training providers for the various programs are the Regional Training Center- Central Luzon Guiguinto, the KorPhil ITTraining Center and the Skills Provider Technical School. The PESO of Meycauayan is the over- all in-charge of the program under the leadership of PESO Manager Emily Rifol.
