Community Based Trainers Undergo Training on VAWC
In the Year- End Program held today by TESDA Bulacan for the members of the Bulacan Association of Community Based Trainers, a learning session on RA 9262 or the Anti- Violence Against Women and Children was conducted. Attended by 35 trainers, the Year- End Program included the orientation on VAWC as part of the continuing development of the community- based trainers in the province. Likewise, this is in support of the government’s effort in its campaign to end VAW in every home. As trainers who are directly in contact with the constituents at the grassroots level, the program was identified in order to equip the trainers with the information on the form of VAWC and the things to do to address this problem of the women sector including their children. DSWD’s Community Based Social Welfare and Development Officer Mercedes E.Cruz was resource speaker.
Next year, other important and relevant topics will be incorporated in every meeting of the CBTAB as part of their development program.
