TESDA Region III Celebrates Valentine’s Day with Educators Through Skills, Wellness, and Partnerships
TESDA Region III Shares Skills and Care in Valentine’s Day Celebration for Educators
Love and appreciation took a meaningful form as the TESDA Region III joined the Valentine’s Day celebration of the Department of Education through the “Project Valentine’s Day: Teachers and Principals Makeover” on February 14, 2026 at the Guiguinto Municipal Athletic and Cultural Center, hosted by Guiguinto National Vocational High School. In line with Memorandum ODDG-TESDO No. 018, s. 2026 issued by DDG Vidal D. Villanueva III, TESDA Region III, under the leadership of Regional Director Atty. Balmyrson M. Valdez, together with Provincial Director of TESDA Bulacan Dir. Neil G. Santioque, mobilized trainers, partner institutions and stakeholders to provide wellness services and technical demonstrations for 100 teachers and school heads. Grooming and beauty care services were rendered by the Community-Based Trainers Association in Bulacan, and practical skills demonstrations included Japanese Butchi and Kimchi Making. An orientation on PV installation by the TESDA Provincial Training Center-Calumpit, a Solar Powered Smart House mock-up by the Regional Training Center-Central Luzon, and a 3D printing orientation by the Korea Philippines Information Technology Training Center.
Adding warmth to the celebration, Richwell Colleges sponsored a mocktail booth for participants, while a Mental Health Awareness video prepared by La Consolacion University Philippines highlighted the value of emotional well-being and self-care. Through this collaborative effort, TESDA Region III expressed its appreciation for educators by sharing not only skills and services but also opportunities for learning, innovation, and wellness. The activity reaffirmed the office’s continued commitment to strengthening inter-agency partnerships and supporting community development through technical education and compassionate public service.
