Graduation Ceremony for Dressmaking NC II
On March 5, 2024, the Provincial Training Center – Calumpit, under the leadership of Center Administrator Renato S. Salas, was represented by Mr. Lawrence M. Ramon, Acting Vocational Instruction Supervisor (VIS), at the graduation ceremony for Dressmaking NC II held at Bunsuran Elementary School in Pandi, Bulacan. Also present were External OIC-Villaluna from the 5th District House of Representative (Cong. Ambrosio “Boy” Cruz Jr.), and Mr. Edgardo Carasig, ALS Focal Person and Education Program Specialist.
A total of twenty-five (25) graduates from the Special Training for Employment Program (STEP) completed their Dressmaking NC II training and received their Certificate of Training for this qualification.
During the ceremony, Mr. Villaluna encouraged the graduates by highlighting the significance of obtaining TESDA’s National Certificate, emphasizing its importance for securing employment opportunities both locally and internationally. Additionally, Mr. Ramos, in his closing remarks, suggested that the graduates could utilize their newfound skills to establish their own businesses in fabrics and dressmaking. He mentioned potential career paths such as dressmaking, sewing, and garment repair and alterations.
