PTC-Calumpit provided assistance to the delegates of Gonzalo Puyat School of Arts and Trades (GPSAT)

April 3, 2023 I Provincial Training Center-Calumpit provided assistance to the delegates of Gonzalo Puyat School of Arts and Trades (GPSAT) headed by Dr. Alvin Sagum during the System for TVET Accreditation and Recognition (STAR) program benchmarking activities. 

The activity aimed to collaborate and compare the system processes of both institutions, particularly on administration, research and innovations, and program delivery which PTC Calumpit showcased in the 2022 National STAR Rating Validation and which led to a 1-STAR award. 

The activity was one of the initiatives of GPSAT and PTC Calumpit in view of the preparation for the upcoming Regional and National STAR validation for the Fiscal Year 2023.

Officer-in-Charge Mr. Renato Salas and STAR focal person Mr. Lawrence Ramos focused the discussion on four main criteria: Governance and Management, Curriculum and Program Delivery, Support Services, and Program Performance Measures followed by a tour on PTC Calumpit’s facilities and workshops.
