TESDA Region III Director Lagran Visits Korphil IT Training Center, Supports Expansion of IT Programs
On August 5, 2024, the TESDA Korea-Philippines Information Technology Training Center, led by Center Administrator Kathrine R. Angeles and her team, along with Provincial Director of TESDA Bulacan, PD Melanie Grace Romero, welcomed the newly appointed TESDA Region III Regional Director, Baron Jose Lagran. Upon his arrival at the Korphil building, Director Lagran was immediately impressed by the institution’s modern and innovative atmosphere, enhanced by advanced IT marketing equipment displayed prominently at the entrance. The visit highlighted the center’s commitment to cutting-edge technology and IT education. Ms. Angeles provided a detailed overview of the center’s strategic goals during the tour. She emphasized plans to expand their IT curriculum, including registering new courses, Visual Graphics Design NC III and Cybersecurity. These additions aim to strengthen the center’s focus on providing high-quality, relevant IT training that meets the demands of the evolving tech industry. Director Lagran expressed strong support for these initiatives and encouraged the team to expedite the process of implementing these new programs, recognizing their potential to enhance the center’s impact in the field of information technology.
