6-day Community-Based Training in Doormat and Potholder Making
Provincial Training Center-Calumpit, headed by Mr. Renato Salas, conducts a 6-day Community-Based Training in Doormat and Potholder Making for the Dumagats in Sitio Karahume, Brgy. San Isidro, City of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan.
A total of 24 trainees are currently participating in the training under the supervision of their trainer, Ms. Laura Opiana.
Mr. Benjamin San Jose, City Indigenous People Mandatory Representative, stated that the IPs are thankful for the new skill they acquire from TESDA because it will be their additional source of income apart from making sticks, which is their usual livelihood.
