MDCS Mechanical Design and Control System Benchmarking Activity
Benchmarking activities are one of the key activities of the Regional Training Center Central Luzon-Guiguinto to showcase its commitment to continually enhance the delivery of services to its clients and stakeholders.
On May 17, 2024, as directed by the Center Chief, Mr. Rheo Henry Rodriguez, the Instructional Unit of the RTCCL-Guiguinto led by the Supervising TESD Specialist, Mr. Jeffrey Guevarra attended the benchmarking activity at MDCS Mechanical Design and Control System in Baliuag City, Bulacan. The activity aims to evaluate industry standards and practices to identify opportunities for improvement and enhance the center’s training delivery of programs.
The activity commenced with a warm welcome extended by the MDCS Team, headed by the President, Mr. Ruel Hipolito, followed by a brief introduction of MDCS’s profile, services, and operations best practices. It was productively concluded by a demonstration of current engineering trainer equipment, coinciding with the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement for a partnership focusing on employment facilitation and trainer’s immersion.
MDCS is known for educational equipment for Engineering and Technology. They provide a variety of engineering and technical trainer equipment including instrumentation process control trainers, pneumatic and electro-pneumatic trainers, hydraulic and electro-hydraulic trainers, digital electronics trainers, electrical AC/DC trainers, motor controls trainers, programmable logic controller trainers, refrigeration and air conditioning trainers, mechatronics trainers, water treatment process system trainers, and high voltage trainers.
Additionally, Mr. Hipolito aspires to share their knowledge and expertise by offering a 5-day free training course in Mechatronics using their original designs and manufactured trainer equipment. This training presents an opportunity for TESDA Region 3 to enhance its TESDA Technology Institutions (TTIs) in the field of Mechatronics, potentially providing significant benefits and advancements in the region’s vocational education landscape.
