Meeting of TVET Educators and Assessors of Bulacan (ATEAB)

On April 11, 2023, the Association of TVET Educators and Assessors of Bulacan (ATEAB) had its 2023 General Assembly at TESDA Gymnasium, RTCCL, Tabang, Guiguinto, Bulacan.

As highlight of the event, TESDA partners and trainers who have gone before us were awarded with Posthumous Plaques of Recognition. Dr.
Marcelo Fernandez, Region III TESD Committee Chair, was one of the awardees and he was recognized for his contributions to the growth of the TVET sector in Bulacan.

The Updates for the Trainers’ Requirements for NTTC and Assessors’ Accreditation were discussed by CAC and UPTRAS focals Ms. Jovet Lopez and Ms. Cathy Santos, respectively. The ATEAB accomplishment report was delivered by outgoing president, Mr. Charles Bryan Uriarte.

The new ATEAB officers were also elected. In her welcoming remarks, PD Gerty Pagaran congratulated ATEAB and commended them for calling trainers as educators.

She also reminded TVET educators and assessors to uphold integrity in their training and assessment activities. She also congratulated the new set of ATEAB officers led by the new President, Ms. Richel Kalaw.
