PTC Calumpit and MGCPI partnership for supervised industry learning (SIL) programs
On March 18, 2024, a formal collaboration was established between the Provincial Training Center-Calumpit, under the leadership of its Center Administrator Mr. Renato Salas, and Manuela Gonzales Concrete Pipes Incorporated (MGCPI), represented by Former Paombong Vice Mayor Ms. Cristina Gonzales. This partnership was solidified through a Memorandum of Agreement focusing on Supervised Industry Learning (SIL) programs centered around Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) and Electrical Installation and Maintenance (EIM).
In addition to facilitating immersion opportunities for learners from PTC Calumpit, both institutions expressed interest in providing training for qualified instructors. This training would enable them to enhance their skills and impart technological knowledge related to the company’s industrial machinery, fabrication processes, and automation controllers. This collaboration reflects MGCPI’s commitment to community engagement and service.
