RTTCL – Guiguinto and TTI Advisory Council (TAC) conducted the second quarter hybrid meeting

The Regional Training Center Central Luzon – Guiguinto and TTI Advisory Council (TAC) conducted the second quarter hybrid meeting last June 27, 2023.

The TAC meeting was facilitated by Mr. Jeffrey Guevarra, TAC Secretariat and attended by Ms. Cristina Tuzon, new TAC Chairman and its members: Mr. Exequiel Sevilla, EEI Corporation; Mr. Edgardo Santiago, Bulacan Association of Technical-Vocational Schools; Provincial Director Edna Dizon, DTI Bulacan; Dean. Keno Paid, Bulacan State University; Mr. Eric Darryl Lim, Autokid Subic Trading and Mr. Roderick Alcantara, TESDA RTCCL-Guiguinto Partnership Focal.

Ms. Cristina Tuzon, President of the Bulacan Chamber of Commerce accepted the chairmanship position of the TTI Advisory Council after the resignation of Mr. Victor Mendoza as TAC chairman. Two resolutions were approved by the council which are the RTCCL Guiguinto’s registration of two higher TVET Qualifications in Shielded Metal Arc Welding NC III and Electrical Installation and Maintenance NC IV.

TESDA RTCCL-Guiguinto will be joining in the launching of two DTI programs “Gabay sa Barangay” and “Gabay sa Negosyo” on July 7, 2023, which can be incorporated into one of the 10-point agendas of TESDA Sec. Suharto T. Mangudadatu “TESDA sa Barangay”.

The council agreed to focus on identifying the training programs needed per barangay in the province of Bulacan and the reason of their inability to provide training in their respective barangays. They also agreed to invite representatives from different sectors for an industry forum to every meeting. The TAC suggested to invite the Bulacan Provincial Governor and TESDA Provincial Director to their next meeting.
