TESDA Calumpit and Partners Provide Relief to Families Affected by Typhoon Enteng
On September 9, 2024, the Provincial Training Center-Calumpit, led by Center Administrator Mr. Renato Salas, and the Bulacan Manpower and Livelihood Training Center (BMLTC), headed by Administrator Mr. Fernan De Alca, participated in relief operations for families affected by Typhoon “Enteng” in Calumpit, Bulacan. This effort was made in collaboration with the Bulacan Association of Technical Vocational Schools (BATVS) and the Philippine TVET Elite Eagles Club (PTEEaC).
Composed of food and non-food items, the assistance provided through the collaborative efforts of the TESDA Provincial Office-Bulacan, PTC-Calumpit, PTEEaC, and BATVS augmented the resources for over 18 families from Barangay Sapang Bayan, Calumpit. These families, known to be among the hardest hit by flooding, were temporarily evacuated to the multi-purpose building within the PTC-Calumpit/BMLTC compound. The relief efforts aimed to support their recovery as they faced the aftermath of Typhoon “Enteng”.
