TESDA Calumpit Partners with Edward Marcs Philippines for Green Tech Training
On July 4, 2024, TESDA Provincial Training Center – Calumpit, headed by its Center Administrator Renato Salas, joined in a partnership with Edward Marcs Philippines, Inc. This strategic alliance aims to enhance training in green technology courses, utilizing Edward Marcs Philippines, Inc. as an off-campus facility.
The Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was initiated by TESDA III Regional Director Toni June Tamayo and Edward Marcs Philippines, Inc. President Ms. Michelle Cordova. Before the signing, Mr. Felix Cordova Jr., Business Development Manager, presented a short background about EMPI, emphasizing the company’s commitment to sustainability and innovation.
The signing ceremony took place at the EMPI Bulacan Warehouse, Longos, Calumpit, Bulacan, attended by TESDA Bulacan Provincial Director Melanie Grace Romero and PTC Guagua Center Administrator Mr. Andres Cabalu, who lent their support to the MOA signing. Representatives from PTC Calumpit and EMPI were present, highlighting the significance of this partnership.
This collaboration aims to offer high-quality training in green technology, preparing students for careers in the growing sector. The partnership will enhance community awareness and support for green initiatives, with both parties developing a comprehensive curriculum, scheduling regular progress meetings, and promoting the programs to maximize reach and impact.
