TESDA PTC-Calumpit Launches First Jobs Linkaging and Networking Services (JoLiNS) in Collaboration with Feedmix Specialist Inc.
On February 25, 2025, Provincial Training Center – Calumpit headed by Center Administrator Renato S. Salas, conducted its 1st batch of Jobs Linkaging and Networking Services (JoLiNS) in cooperation with Feedmix Specialist Incorporation held in the Municipal of Calumpit Bulacan. The company is eyeing to hire skilled workers who graduated in TESDA courses holding National Certificates in programs such as Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) I and II and Electrical Installation and Maintenance (EIM).
Twenty-five (25) SMAW NC I, II, and EIM II, III graduates underwent a one-on-one interview with the HR Coordinator of Feedmix Specialist Inc. The graduates and applicants are subjected to the on-site test-trade of Feedmix Specialist which will be scheduled on 1st week of March 2025. The on-site trade test will assess the applicant’s practical knowledge, technical abilities, and problem-solving skills related to their chosen field of work. This test will play a vital role in ensuring competency and maintaining the high standards of qualified individuals.
After the conduct of Job Linkaging and Networking Services (JoLiNS), PTC-Calumpit Administrator Renato S. Salas and Ms. Christel Mae O. Pangan (Employment Focal) discussed with Ms. Juvy Pagdanganan the HR-SP Coordinator of Feedmix Specialist INC., the possible partnership/ agreement on the TESDA Program specifically: Supervised Industry Learning (SIL), Dual Training System (DTS) and JoLiNS in future partnership with Public Employment Service Office PESO-Calumpit. A succeeding meeting with Feedmix Specialist Inc. and PESO Calumpit, will be held next for a plant ocular visit for further discussion of the agreement.
