ROAD SAFETY FORUM ISASABAY SA ANIBERSARYO NG TESDA
Upang maiwasan ang mga nagaganap na sakuna sa mga lansangan ay isasagawa ang “Road Safety Forum” ng The Alliance of TESDA Certified Drivers, Trainers, Assessor, and Safety Driving Advocates (AllTESDAPhil) kasabay sa isang linggong pagdiriwang ng ika-23 taong anibersaryo ng Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).
Ayon kay TESDA Director General, Secretary Guiling “Gene” Mamondiong, gaganapin ang naturang forum sa Agosto 22 ng kasalukuyang taon dakong 1:00 ng hapon hanggang 6:00 gabi sa TESDA Main Office Covered Court, Taguig City.
Magiging tema sa gaganaping forum ang “Transport Modernization: The Gateway to Road Safety” na layuning mabigyan ng sapat na kaalaman ang mga nagmamaneho ng sasakyan upang maging ligtas sa kalsada.
Kabilang sa tatalakayin sa forum ang “Road Safety is a Shared Responsibility” kung saan ay magiging tagapagsalita si Engr. Alberto Suansing, National Chairman ng Safety Organization of the Philippines, Inc. (SOPI) at “What Transport Modernization Means to the Lives of Transport Operators” na tatalakayin naman ni Orlando Marquez, National Chairman ng Liga ng Transportasyon at Operators sa Pilipinas (LTOP).
Magiging tagapagsalita din sa okasyon si Roberto Martin, National Chairman ng Pasang Masda kung saan ay ituturo naman nito ang kahalagahan ng “The Cause and Effect of Transport Modernization habang si National Chairman ng Federation of Jeepney Operators and Drivers Association of the Philippines (FEJODAP) Zenaida Maranan ay tatalakayin naman ang Advantages of Transport Modernization on Jeepney Drivers.
Bukod dito, ilulunsad naman ng AllTESDAPhil ang kanilang libro tungkol sa Road Safety and Traffic Violations na layuning madagdagan ang kaalaman ng mga drivers kung paano maiwasan ang aksidente sa kalsada at maituro din kung paano makaiwas sa mga paglabag sa pagmamaneho.
Samantala, bukod sa TESDA ay katuwang din ng AllTESDAPhil sa gaganaping forum ang Land Transportation Office (LTO), Land Transportation Franchising Regulatory Board (LTFRB), Hyundai Philippines, Shell Philippines at Philippine National Bank (PNB).
Inaasahan din na lalahukan ng 1,500 delagado ang gaganaping forum na magmumula sa iba’t-ibang sektor at industriya habang hinikayat din ng AllTESDAPhil ang mga drivers na dumalo at makinig sa talakayan para sa karagdagang kaalaman sa pagmamaneho. ###

TESDA TO HOLD ROAD SAFETY FORUM ON ITS ANNIVERSARY
In order to prevent road accidents, the Alliance of TESDA Certified Drivers, Trainers, Assessor, and Safety Driving Advocates (AllTESDAPhil) will hold a road safety forum during the 23rd anniversary of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).
TESDA Director General, Secretary Guiling “Gene” Mamondiong said that the road safety forum will be held at the TESDA Main Office Covered Court in Taguig City on Aug. 22, 1-6 p.m.
The theme of the road safety forum will be “Transport Modernization: The Gateway to Road Safety” which aims to give drivers enough knowledge on road safety.
Among the topics to be discussed include “Road Safety is a Shared Responsibility” with Engr. Alberto Suansing, National Chairman of Safety Organization of the Philippines, Inc. (SOPI), as guest speaker; and “What Transport Modernization Means to the Lives of Transport Operators” which will be tackled by Orlando Marquez, National Chairman of the Liga ng Transportasyon at Operators sa Pilipinas (LTOP).
Also joining the forum are Roberto Martin, National Chairman ng Pasang Masda, who will speak on “The Cause and Effect of Transport Modernization” and Zenaida Maranan, National Chairman of Federation of Jeepney Operators and Drivers Association of the Philippines (FEJODAP), who will discuss the “Advantages of Transport Modernization on Jeepney Drivers.”
At the same occasion, AllTESDAPhil will also launch its book on road safety and traffic violations.
Aside from TESDA, other agencies who are joining forces with the AllTESDAPhil for the forum Land Transportation Office, Land Transportation Franchising Regulatory Board, Hyundai Philippines, Shell Philippines and Philippine National Bank.
More than 1,500 delegates from various agencies and industries are expected to join the road safety forum. ###
