PTC Calumpit with BFP organize a Fire Safety Awareness Seminar/Orientation in observance of Fire Prevention Month
On March 19, 2024, the Provincial Training Center – Calumpit, led by Center Administrator Renato S. Salas, collaborated with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP-Calumpit) to organize a Fire Safety Awareness Seminar/Orientation in observance of Fire Prevention Month. SF01 Joselito Balingit, FO2 Kenneth Hermosa, and FO1 Albraine Pamintuan led the seminar.
The event was attended by personnel from TESDA Calumpit, Bulacan Manpower and Livelihood Training Center (BMLTC-Calumpit), as well as trainers and learners from various programs such as Electrical Installation and Maintenance, Shielded Metal Arc Welding, Driving, and Dressmaking.
The primary goal of the safety orientation was to raise awareness among citizens about the importance of fire safety and to educate them about first aid measures applicable both at the training center, their homes, and workplaces. Such initiatives aim to ensure that personnel, trainers, and learners of PTC-Calumpit can respond promptly in case of any fire emergency.
